#STOPCHILDLABOR

This week we made an output about the word "child labor". This activity also made me realized that I must be contented on what I have now, because there are people who were suffering than me.

Child labor is one of the major problems in our world. It is considered as unlawful and inhuman activity. Because of child labor, there are some children who are not enjoying their youth life. They are working and sacrificing each and everyday for them to survive. Instead of going to school and learning a lot and new things, and even playing with other children. For me, poverty is the main reason behind this major issue.

At the end of that activity, I felt so pity on the children who are suffering from this child labor. There are lot of human rights that being stepped by. Children are also human, right? But why they are facing this king of hardship? They must have a happy lives and should treated like a human.

So I, as a student of NNHS and part of English Access and also as a Filipino citizen,  I am proud to say that  "I AM ANTI-CHILD LABOR!".

Yes, I did it!

Doing my assignment inside the four corners of our small like ant house, and proving myself to the members of my family. I could feel the very high pressure that my parents are applied  to my shoulders. It looked like that they wanted me to be like my sister, Donnabel. One of the people owned the valedictorian title in our school.
“I want you to be part of the honor roll, so you must study hard!” said my mother Annette as she looked in the ceiling and dreamed of something. I only smiled, looked in the other side of our house and said, “Huhhh? You said study hard? Can I do it? I can’t see the hope like a blind person, mother. After I said that, I noticed that my mother was staring at me, looks like she was challenging me. I answered very fast like a running horse and shouted at the top of my voice and said, yes mother, I will study hard! I covered my mouth and stopped for a while. “How did those words came out from my big mouth? Oh, I can’t imagine.”
At the beginning, it wasn't easy for me like breaking a big stone to be part of the honor roll. There ware time that I am already want to give up, but my heart and soul still said “I can do it!” I made a systematic plan to achieve my goal. I joined different fights against different schools to earn my stripes, and get a high as tower extracurricular points.
At the end, the honor roll was announced by our adviser. My knees shook up, while waiting for the results. Keeping a big smile in my face and a million thanks to God for that opportunity, I told myself to be calm, because I am the salutatorian. And that is the outcome of not giving up, and proving to my parents that I can do it.

"Silence Please"

Doing my assignment, because I didn’t do it last day, together with my classmate, Alexis and sitting in front of an enormous table in a small room of knowledge. I could see persons wearing their I.D in their proper uniform that was covered with silence. I could also feel the icy air that touching my skin because of the high power of the aircon. “Are you okay?” my classmate whispered. I only smiled and said, “Don’t worry, I’m okay! Come on let’s find the book that we need.”
We stood up and walked like a turtle towards the right side of room of knowledge.  Suddenly, we found the book that we needed to be able to answer our assignment. We are jumping for joy that time so we shouted “Yes!” at the top of our voice and we noticed that the old woman wearing eyeglasses in green blouse heard that very loud sound. The scary woman had a foaming at the mouth. We felt so very nervous. As she also  stared at us like she wanted to eat us while pointing a sign. We looked on the side, following the index milk finger of the scary woman, that pointing the sign “SILENCE PLEASE”.
Our knees we’re shaking up and I could feel my heart beating so fast and so loud that seemed it could break my chest.  So we immediately went back to our chair. Hurriedly, we finished our notetaking and returned the book right away to its proper place. After that, we went out of  the room of knowledge with duck lips plastered across our face, that evidently we’ve disobeyed a rule inside.
At the end, we realized that we are wrong that time. We also realized that  we must observed silence while we are inside the room of knowledge.
